Pursuant to article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, we hereby inform you that your personal data in our possession has been provided directly by you or acquired from third parties, such as for example Chambers of Commerce and registry offices, or in connection with promotional activities, and that same is processed with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with the aforementioned Decree.
Data processing takes place in the framework of our ordinary activities, or of activities connected with or instrumental in same, such as for example management and operating requirements or to fulfil legal obligations (including tax, accounting and anti money laundering obligations, etc.).
Personal data processing is performed using paper-based and automatic means in such a way as to guarantee the confidentiality and security of same.
We usually do not need to communicate the data in our possession to third parties, except in the cases in which this has been agreed by contract, when necessary to comply with legal obligations, or when this is appropriate for the purposes of using ordinary banking channels (such as data regarding bank transfers and data indicated on cheques and promissory notes) and whenever this is necessary in the pursuit of our ordinary business activities.
Furthermore, for the purposes set out above, personal data may be communicated – if necessary also to foreign countries – to lawyers, freelance professionals and external consultants, including for example accountants.
The processing of your personal data is clearly indispensable for the purposes of stipulating commercial agreements with you, as well as to maintain normal contractual relationships, such as for example in contracts of supply, and to comply with legal obligations, including tax regulations: in the event you refuse to provide your personal data, it may prove impossible to enter into normal business relations.
We also inform you that, with regard to processing, you may exercise your rights pursuant to article 7, Legislative Decree no. 196/2003. Specifically, you may obtain from our company, in its capacity as data controller, without delay:
1) confirmation of whether or not personal data relating to you exists, even if not yet registered, and the communication in intelligible form of such data and their source, as well as the reasons for and the purposes of their processing; such request may be repeated, except when justified reasons exist, at intervals of no less than ninety days;
2) the deletion, anonymisation or blocking of data processed in breach of the law, including data which need not be retained in connection with the purposes for which such data was collected or subsequently processed;
3) the updating, rectification or, if of interest, supplementing of the data;
4) certification that the operations described in points 2) and 3) above have been brought to the attention, also with regard to their content, of the persons and parties to which the data has been communicated, except in the case in which compliance is impossible or entails a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right protected. You may also object entirely or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of your personal data, even though same is pertinent to the purposes of collection, or object entirely or in part to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of commercial information or the sending of advertising or direct selling material, or to perform market research or commercial communications, and to be informed by the data controller, before the time such data is communicated, of the possibility of exercising such right without cost. You will also have a right of knowledge, by means of access at no cost to the register pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196, June 30, 2003.
You are finally informed that, while awaiting your communication of consent, if forthcoming, your request to perform operations that imply the communication of your data will act in lieu of consent for the performance of such operations.
